different strokes, live demo, art fest
Saturday June 12
Two Wisconsin women approach
the arts from individual perspectives. Meet our next featured guest artists, Deb Mortl and Joan Stanich on Saturday, June 12, 2004 from 5 - 7 PM. Chat
with them, see their latest paintings and enjoy wine and cheese at our next opening reception for an exhibit of
their work on display through July 16.
Artist Joan Stanich has been attracted to England's beautiful countryside for most of her life and
a few years ago she began to capture the market towns and ancient British castles on canvas.

Joan invites you to see
her at work in a live painting demonstration on the gallery
grounds, Saturday, June 12, from 11AM to 1 PM. |
| Deb Mortl specializes
in landscape and figurative painting, working in a classical manner that consists of slowly building transparent
layers of color. But she breaks from the classic convention by combining elements of text and collage to introduce
symbolism. |
